How to setup your PC, Mac, Mobile Phone or PDA

If you use Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird or any other regular email client in POP3 mode the server details for email2go are as follows:

Inbound POP3 Server: pop.email2go.net
Outbound SMTP Server: smtp.email2go.net

Login with your email address as the username together with your chosen password or the temporary password that you have been assigned by a Synapse engineer.

Our smtp server does require authentication so please remember to select this option on the "Outgoing Server" tab under "More Settings".  Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".

If you have an IMAP4 client you can set it to connect to:
IMAP4 Server: imap.email2go.net

If your mobile phone or PDA can connect to POP3 and SMTP servers please enter the same information (above) that you would for Outlook.  If you can browse the web on your device please browse to:
Mobile Server: mobile.email2go.net

Blackberry users (with Web-Client Blackberries) - please let us know your device's blackberry email address and we'll gladly forward copies of all incoming emails to your Blackberry.  Next, simply change the 'from' address on your Blackberry to your normal email address and then all replies will appear to come from your normal account.

How to change your password using WebAdmin

If you have been assigned a temporary password by a Synapse engineer you can use it together with your email address to login to WebAdmin.  Either click here or follow the link at the top right of this page.

Once logged in to WebAdmin click on My Account and under Account Information please enter a new password and click Save.  From within WebAdmin you can also setup many other options regarding your account.  Click Sign Out when you have made all your required changes.

You can login to WebAdmin again at any time (remembering to use your new password).
